My background

I am an American-born English teacher who has called Hungary home for the past 15 years.

I have a BA in communications and an MA in sociology from CEU in Budapest. I have been teaching English to both children and adults since 2010.

As well as having private students of all ages, I have been teaching at a kindergarten in Budapest and working as lecturer at ELTE University in the pedagogy and applied linguistics department for a decade.

  • Flexible scheduling — lessons can be arranged to suit your timetable.
  • Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before must be paid for.
  • No long-term commitment required — book as you go.
  • Lessons take place online or in-person in Budapest.
  • For in-person lessons, the cost might be higher depending on travel requirements.
